Finally worked out the courage to go to Al-Rashid Mall in Al-Khobar with the ladies --luckily Nadia called and reminded me last night. I wore a dull pink scarf --just to test the water cause I heard that you can only wear white or black--but no muta'wah came and harrassed me, so that's good news. Later on at The Body Shop, I saw a girl wearing a green scarf, so maybe it's really ok to beat the system.
Made new friend with Sofi; she is from Jordan but she will be moving to Jeddah at the end of June. Sad, but we have a place to visit now should we go to Jeddah again.
Shopping with mothers is totally a different story --we spent more time at the Children store more than anything else! I can't wait to have a child now, so I can blend in too! :-)
